(Hours: Wednesday morning, Thursday and Friday)

Our client is seeking an experienced Tenancy Support Officer to capture and assess the support needs of customers in general needs housing across their operational areas.

You will provide bespoke and effective support, this will include supporting tenancy sustainability, facilitating customer choice, supporting thriving neighbourhoods and signposting customers to local complementary services which manage customers specific needs.

Delivering excellent services to customers and working to achieve performance targets you will engage and work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to deliver a professional and person centred support package to customers.

The successful candidate will have relevant professional qualification (e.g CIH) and will possess a higher level education (post A level) or equivalent through relevant training/ experience. Demonstrable relevant experience of working in a social housing, statutory or voluntary sector environment in a similar or related role is essential together with knowledge and understanding of current best practice in tenancy sustainment and support for vulnerable people. Experience of dealing with vulnerable customers, some of whom may be demanding or under stress is also a requirement.

Due to the nature you will possess a current clean driving licence and access to a car, you will also have the ability and willingness to work flexibly to attend meetings and other events.
