The company
Our client, a highly regarded business who operate multiple sites across the UK, are continuing to enjoy unprecedented growth and are forecasting fourfold growth within this division alone over the next five years. As a result, they now wish to appoint an exceptional professional who is ready for their next challenge.
Investing heavily in their pet food business, the plan is to continue this growth in an orderly and controlled fashion, therefore we seek a very specific skill set.
The role
As the owner of sales development within the business, you will be instrumental in devising and delivering the strategy for growth within the division, you will recruit, develop and mentor your team whilst building and maintaining strong business relationships.
Focusing your efforts on key sector and potential client identification, you will already be a successful operator within this market, able to bring that wealth of knowledge and experience to the group.
The person
A dynamic individual with true passion, flair and the desire to develop relationships within the retail, wholesale and niche markets, promoting an inspirational product set with exceptional sustainable credentials. This individual will take great pride seeing their products on retailers’ shelves and be driven to ensure no sector remains untouched.
You will have an exceptional track record within Pet Food sales, excellent retailer contacts, strong people skills and the ability to build a team, strong commercial skills and great presentation skills.
