We have the pleasure of working with our client who are based in Southwold who are looking for a customer service operator.
Description and purpose of role:
Responsible for all aspects of Customer Service supporting and advising customers during the order to fulfilment process and any subsequent post-delivery queries. Assist the Customer Service Supervisor and Customer Service Manager in achieving departmental objectives.
Role and Responsibilities
* Ensure all inbound calls are answered promptly, consistently within 3 rings.
* Dealing with customer orders and queries via the telephone and email ensuring first call/query resolution at every given opportunity
* Ensure that customer orders are keyed in an accurate and timely manner to ensure warehouse pick time is maximized, whilst meeting customers expectations.
* Monitoring progress of orders as required to ensure that customer expectations are met.
* Manage inbound customer queries and complaints.
* Coordinate any customer issues with relevant Sales Manager.
* Advise on any service issues in a proactive manner.
* Liaise with warehouse operations as required for stock and customer order progress updates.
* Key point of contact on named accounts. Secondary cover for holiday and sickness on named accounts.
* Complaints/errors kept to a minimum
* Maintain GDPR compliance
* Customer contact regardless of channel or department receives a courteous and professional service.
* To work with other stakeholder teams such as the Warehouse to deliver consistently high performance
For this role it is essential you have some previous customer service experience along with an organised approach to your work.
This role is offered on a temp to perm basis, after completing 12 weeks of employment.
