Hi xxxxxx,

We are working with an education provider in the Rochdale who are looking for a Welding & Fabrication Trainer to join their engineering training team on a full-time, permanent basis. The job role would consist of delivering practical Welding training (generally on MMA welding) in the workshop on their level 2 and level 3 NVQ programme, as well as on some short courses. They would also require you to do some of the welding learners’ practical assessments, which all take place in the main centre. Ideally they would like a candidate who also has some general Mechanical Engineering skills as well, as that would mean that you would be able to support some of the machining/maintenance learners as well.

The starting salary for this position is between £28,800 and £28,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), which would also include a contributory pension, and 25 days holiday per year (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A welding qualification
-Good industrial experience of welding
