Steelwork Fabrication Supervisor

Salary: £20.4 – £21.6 per hour

Full time permanent (PAYE – no contractors please) Steelwork Fabrication Supervisor required for our client, a well established and very busy steelwork fabrication company who now seek a Fabrication Supervisor to assist and work alongside the Production Manager with the smooth running of the fabrication workshop.

Hourly rates £20.4 – £21.6 per hour paid overtime, company benefits etc… and set within a modern workshop and friendly working environment.

Fabrication Supervisor requirements:

• Must have solid experience working within the structural steelwork industry, with an associated trade background.
• You should be able to read and work to fabrication drawings.
• Experience working with structural steelwork such as columns, floor beams, rafters etc…essential.
• Experience with supervising staff, i.e. at Supervisor or Foreman level and ensuring they know their work program and they have the tools and equipment required to achieve their fabrication deadlines.

In conjunction with the Production manager;

• Assist with the smooth running of the workshop.
• Coordination and distribution of work.
• Logging of CE certifications and all required certifications and “paperwork”.
• Assist checking at times of fabrication work.
• General help and advise with fabrication matters as required.
