Fabrication Manager/Shop Floor Supervisor

ADE Ltd currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Fabrication Manager/Shop Floor Supervisor to join our team and oversee the continued development of the workshop. This is a pivotal role in driving the team and the business forward.

Job Responsibilities

· Leading a team of Fabrication Engineers to ensure each person delivers optimum performance;

· Identify and manage continuous improvement plans;

· Instrumental with new projects; overseeing new product introductions and new processes;

· Allocating workload to fabrication team, ensuring adherence to production schedule;

· Ensuring project targets are met i.e., allocated hours, resourcing allocation.

Person Specification

· Proven background in a manufacturing/production/fabrication workshop environment;

· Extensive experience and knowledge of welding techniques;

· Foreman/supervisory experience within a fabrication setting;

· Ability to implement change and continual improvement;

· Proven experience dealing with fabrication projects and delivering objectives and targets;

· Experience of manufacturing small to large complex components;

· Excellent understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards;

· Health & Safety IOSH for Supervisors (Desirable);

· First Aid at work qualified (Desirable).
