Salary: £36 per hour
Our client, a writer, is looking for a motivated and energetic PA to support him on a part-time long-term basis. You will be working in a friendly but professional environment requiring a high standard of delivery.
Please note this role combines both work and personal administration support.
Typical duties cover:
– Use of intermediate MS Office 2010 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to create documents to a good standard.
– Proofreading of documents for an external audience
– Some liaising with external contacts e.g. tradesmen, public agencies etc.
– Accurate filing
– Some local driving
– General office duties
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
– Good education. Graduate with business degree from traditional, non-polytechnic university preferred.
– Strong literacy skills for completing forms, proofreading etc. would be a big bonus
– Proven record of success in a similar role in the private sector.
– Current relevant office experience. This role is unlikely to be suitable for a returner to work whose skills are not current or a fresh graduate looking for experience.
– Driving licence and own car as there will be limited driving to shops etc.
The job could suit a professional with current relevant experience who is looking for long-term part-time work such as:
– A mature / post-graduate student
– A professional with other part-time professional career commitments
The job is offered on a 3 month freelance / contract basis. You must be registered as self-employed or have your own limited company to take on this contract. The contract can be renewed long-term. There is scope for overtime.
Standard hours are 9-4 Fridays with the option to work additional hours as needed. There may be some flexibility on days worked and to spread hours over days.
The rate is excellent at £36 per hour.
