The company

My client is a highly regarded, growing business with interests across a wide range of food and agricultural businesses. Based in East Riding, the company manufactures and supplies premium quality products to an extensive list of key customers including major retailers, food service and industrial markets.

An opportunity has arisen for an inspirational people person to join the business in a Planning Manager role.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will support the longer-term business plan, along with other projects, ensure that day to day customer service is met. Working within the Supply Chain team, and alongside the Operations Manager, Dispatch and other Key Discipline Heads e.g. Technical, Purchasing and Product Development, we seek a true numbers person who can lead from the front and is able navigate through the data within a relatively challenging site.

The person

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a food/FMCG business. You will be a quick learner with a flexible and positive attitude. You will be confident and have excellent communication skills.

You will have a meticulous attention to detail, be extremely organised and thrive working within a fast moving and growing food manufacturing business.
