Planning Manager – Cheltenham

• Role: Planning Manager
• Location: Cheltenham or Bristol
• Working arrangements: 3 days working from home and 2 from either regional office

Planning Manager – Job purpose:

To manage and be responsible for the preparation and submission to Local Authorities of high-quality planning proposals, making sure they are approved in a timely manner, are deliverable and that any planning gain is negotiated to deliver best value for the development. 

Planning Manager – Experience:

• Proven experience, of managing & delivering planning approvals for residential volume housing programmes. 
• Understanding of health and safety and all relevant health and safety legislation. 
• Budget management experience.
• of Implementing change.

Planning Manager –  Qualifications:

• Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) accredited degree.
• Associate or Licentiate membership of RTPI.

Planning Manager – Practical/Technical knowledge:

• Strong relationship management skills
• Attention to detail
• Skilled negotiator
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to multi-task
• IT literate with strong capability using MS packages.
• An eye for detail and the ability to understand the overall view of New Homes
