RSD Recruitment are working for a reputable hire company in the UK to recruit candidates from the plant maintenance / HGV / materials handling / small tools and motor vehicle industries!

We have a number of roles available:

Workshop Plant Fitter

Workshop Forklift Engineer

Field Service Plant Fitter

Field Service Forklift Engineer

Candidates with an interest in plant roles, the positions will consist of servicing, maintenance, repair and fault finding of plant machinery such as diggers, dumpers, dozers, rollers, crushers and screeners. This will either be workshop based or at customer sites depending on the nature of the position. 

All field service roles come with a company vehicle and is paid door to door (meaning you are paid from the moment you switch your engine on until you turn it off at the end of the day!). 

For workshop roles, you will work alongside other engineers. 

Our workshop positions will invite candidates to apply who have experience in diesel mechanics and have a passion for engineering – it is a great opportunity to gain experience within the plant industry with the support of other engineers for training and progression purposes. 

Schedule:

Monday – Friday (40 hours per week) Flexible hours between 07:00 – 18:00.

Required:

Field Service:

– Full UK Driving Licence

– Experience on relevant machinery

Workshop:

– Diesel mechanics experience

– Passion for engineering
