Our Client is looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman to join their team in Bolton on a full time permanent basis.
Job Specification
This is a key role within the Aftersales Team and the vacancy has become available due to a promotion within the team.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate a high level of technical knowledge along with strong telephone and face-to-face customer interaction skills.
Based in a busy Vauxhall and Chevrolet site the position will work alongside our workshop controller and liaise closely with both workshop technicians and our four service advisors.
The primary function of the role is to check, measure and maintain our high standards of workshop quality, work closely to increase the throughput of work and productivity, pre-identification of customer faults of an already busy workshop.
Preferred skills would include:-
” Technical knowledge of the Vauxhall car, light and heavy commercial vehicle range to qualified technician as a minimum
” Excellent customer service skills to ensure high Customer Satisfaction scores
” Experience of the Kerridge dealership management IT system (although full training will be given)
” Experience on an Effective Quality Control Process
” Experience on Electronic Vehicle Health Check
” Control and motivation of service technicians
” Dealing with the manufacturer and customers
It is expected that the post holder will be responsible for increasing the throughput of work and productivity of an already busy workshop. The role will work closely with the Aftersales management team and report directly to the Market Area Service Manager
Hours of work: Full time
Location: Bolton
Salary: OTE for the first year would be circa £26,000 for the successful candidate.
