Websphere Commerce Developer

A WebSphere Commerce Developer is required for 3 months (likely to be extended) based in London.

WebSphere Commerce, eCommerce, J2EE

Responsibilities:
*Design solutions to solve client’s business issues.
*Provide technical leadership to the project team for successful on-time and on-budget delivery
*Coding, Unit testing, Dev integration testing
*Help the Project Manager and team throughout the execution of projects
*Design reviews and Code reviews from the design/architectural point of view

Job Description:
*Should have 5 to 7 years of total experience with at least 3 years hands-on experience in WebSphere Commerce development
*Good experience in designing and implementing e-Commerce applications built on IBM WebSphere Commerce v7.x with knowledge of latest Feature Packs
*Expertise in MVC framework, WC Command framework and key architectural patterns
*Experienced in working with various Java/J2EE standard Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like Rational Software Architect, RAD, etc.
*Experienced in J2EE Design Patterns including Data Access Object, Session Façade, Business Delegate, and Command Patterns
*Advanced Programming Skills in Java/J2EE technologies like JDBC, Servlets, EJB, Java Webservices, JSP, taglibs, Javascript, CSS, Struts
*Good communication skills – Both written and verbal
*2+ Years in integrating eCommerce Solutions with Business Partners with various communications protocols (REST, WSDLs, Gateways, APIs, etc.)

It would be desirable if you had the following:
Experience in Requirements gathering and elicitation for Java and WebSphere Commerce applications. Capability to understand the business needs and map to technology.

This role is to start ASAP and will pay up to £522 per day (Ltd/Umbrella).
