Retail and E-Commerce Manager based in Milton Keynes

We are recruiting a Retail and E-Commerce manager on behalf of one of our clients. This business is one of the world”s largest logistics companies, with a strong market presence in the seafreight, airfreight, contract logistics and overland sectors. They are contract logistics partner of choice for a varied clientèle, designing diverse and bespoke solutions.

They are seeking a Retail and e-Commerce manager to oversee the day to day operations for one of their major retail clients. Supporting the management team in delivering excellent service levels to meet the expectations of the customer in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Position Summary

As Retail and E-Commerce Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the department including, the line management and development of the team, creating and maintaining KPI’s, management reports and overseeing all processes and procedures to ensure all KPI’s and targets are achieved where possible. Further duties will include, but will not be restricted to:

– Achieving the highest standard of productivity, quality and efficiency as well as monitoring stock accuracy
– Creating a respectful and productive working environment
– Analysis of stock holding and providing customer and management updates
– Developing effective communications between departments and external contacts
– Prioritising work and tasks to ensure deadlines are met
– Ensuring Health and Safety legislation throughout
– Encouraging continuous improvement through customer feedback and responding to constructive requests
– Ensuring all resources are sufficient to the needs of the business
Position Qualifications and Skills
– Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment
– Proficient with the use of Microsoft software
– Experienced in creating reports in a timely and accurate manner
– Strong understanding of KPI’s and targets
– Experience of hazard and risk identification
– Ability to analyse and interpret data
– Effective decision making abilities
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to inspire and motivate team members
– Encourage talent and manage succession.
