Marketing Manager (E-Commerce Solutions) Manchester or Home Office

OVERVIEW; Junior Marketing Manager (UK and Ireland) sought by expanding innovative international e-commerce software solutions company with HQ in Netherlands. Salary C£33,600 – £39,600depending on ability and experience plus excellent benefits package. This role would suit someone with BETWEEN 2-5 years experience!

LOCATION; You will be part of their international marketing team who are based in Rotterdam in the Netherlands but you may undergo training / induction / integration in Rotterdam for a short period and return back to the UK to work from your home office OR should you wish you may remain in Rotterdam! – my client IS flexible. My client also intends to open new UK offices in the near future.

THE COMPANY;
My client is a rapidly expanding market leading e-commerce solutions company with 350 employees growing 40% year on year. They have a focus on growth in the UK and Ireland. Most of their marketing and sales people are based in our headquarters in Rotterdam however they also have numerous other global offices. My client has a world-class technical development team which designs and develops their solutions which include B2B e-commerce solutions and mobile application solutions for Microsoft Dynamics and SAP that help wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers to grow business on-line. Products include shopping cart software, sales portals for Dynamics and SAP and e-commerce webshops, e-commerce web and software solutions in-house.

THE OPPORTUNITY;
My client has a rare opportunity for a talented and ambitious Marketing professional who has between 2-5 years commercial experience who will be responsible for designing and implementing their marketing strategy in UK and Ireland. You will be part of their international marketing team who are based in Rotterdam in the Netherlands but you may undergo training and induction in Rotterdam for a short period and return back to the UK to work from your home office OR should you wish you may remain in Rotterdam – my client is very flexible

My client has a clear marketing strategy, but we expect you to initiate and execute UK/Ireland specific campaigns as well.

You will;

– Be responsible for the marketing strategy and execution by using e.g. search engine optimization (SEO), search engine advertisements (SEA), social and e-mail campaigns;
– Monitor and improve the online traffic and conversion of their website;
– Organize participation (sponsoring/ exhibition) to industry trade shows and events;
– Arrange relations with PR agencies to realize off-line and on-line publications;
– Contact customers to write reference cases & develop whitepapers and brochures;
– Research the UK and Irish market, make and execute a practical plan of actions;
– Initiate and monitor direct marketing campaigns, executed by our in-house call agents.

CANDIDATE PROFILE;
– You absolutely MUST be able and prepared to at least undergo an induction, training and integration period in Rotterdam before returning to the UK. You may of course remain in Rotterdam should you wish
– Ideally a graduate in Business, Economics or Communication at University level, preferably with a focus on Marketing
– BETWEEN 2-5 years commercial digital marketing experience along with a dynamic, entrepreneurial personality with the ability to manage multiple tasks;
– Good understanding of business to business marketing or willing to learn
– Well aligned to the duties and responsibilities outlined above
