* My client a leading manufacturing business who have won multiple industry awards are looking to expand their current Warehouse Team. As a result a vacancy has arisen for a Warehouse Team Leader to work Double Days shift.
Job Description
* The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively leading a warehouse and dispatch team ensuring all daily expectations and requirements are fulfilled in the desired time frame whilst delivering exceptional service to the manufacturing department.
Role
* Current valid Counterbalance Forklift license
* Strong proven leadership experience managing and supervising a small team of warehouse operatives
* The ability to lead a team of warehouse operatives by example and motivate the warehouse team
* Previous experience carrying out General Warehouse duties
* Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift with current valid qualifications
* Checking Incoming and Outgoing deliveries
* Loading outgoing vehicles ensuring all correct stock is loaded and secured in delivery order
* Locate each pallet of stock in the warehouse, ensuring traceability and locating
* Notifying Team Leader or Warehouse Manager of damage to stock
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
* Literate in Microsoft Excel & Outlook
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Ability to effectively communicate to cross functional departments
* Manufacturing experience ideally
* Fast paced manufacturing setting with duties include; loading and unloading vehicle
* Ensuring all correct stock is loaded securely and in delivery sequence
* Carryout Pre Operation checks on all mechanical handling equipment
* Working double day shift including 1 in 3 weekends.
