IT Service Desk Team Leader – 2nd Line

Our Client is a rapidly expanding professional services company, who is committed to delivering an excellent level of client service to their customer base and, in turn, they are looking to recruit talented, friendly and hardworking individuals to help support and maintain their internal technology systems.

We are looking for experienced IT Service Desk Team Leader (2nd line) to join the team and undertake line management responsibility for a team of Service Desk Analysts providing 2nd line Support to the user community based in their Bristol office.

Candidates must be technically talented and passionate about delivering the highest levels of technical support and customer service within a technically challenging environment.

As an IT Service Desk Team Leader, you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience working within a busy corporate IT Service Desk providing 2nd line support
• Excellent fault finding, diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Experience leading a support team to achieve SLA and customer satisfaction targets

Technical experience will include:

Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10
Microsoft Office 2003, 2010, 2013
Active Directory, PowerShell, Windows Server 2008
Blackberry Enterprise Server 12
VMWare – Desktop Virtualisation
Remote Access technology

• Experience of working within an ISO27001 certified organisation
• Excellent of ITIL (ideally certified at Foundation level)
• Ability to coach and mentor others

If you have a proven track record as a Service Desk Team Leader and can provide demonstrable experience of manging a wide range of technical problems and incidents in a corporate environment we would like to hear from you.

will also be responsible for the co-ordination of resources providing Desktop Support to the business supporting local and remote office locations, ensuring site visits are completed on a regular basis and that all documentation is undertaken appropriately.
