I am currently working on behalf of a well-established client who has a fantastic opportunity for a Support Engineer to join their team in the West Midlands.
Due to an increased workload, my client is looking to expand their engineering team and as a result is offering longevity of work and brilliant opportunities for personal development and internal progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful Support Engineer will be assisting the Senior Engineers on a range of water projects, as well as running some of the smaller schemes themselves. The Support Engineer will gain exposure to the full project life cycle, utilising their engineering knowledge to assist in the completion of the projects. The successful candidate should have sound engineering knowledge within their chosen engineering discipline as well as a few years’ practical experience. Strong communication skills, a professional working manner and a pro-active approach will be required for this position. Travel across the UK will be required so he/she should hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Key Skills & Experience:

* 1-2 years project experience
* Experience working on water projects (desirable)
* Engineering degree, HNC or HND
* Strong communication skills
* An understanding of relevant health and safety procedures
* Pro-active approach
* Experience in a high pressure, fast paced working environment.

Remuneration:

* £20,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience)
* Other associated benefits
* 39 hour working week
