IT Support Engineer

Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year

As the IT Support Engineer, your duties will include;

* Remotely supporting clients providing support on hardware, software and network issues

* Managing and maintaining equipment, management of networks, server administration, virtual servers & backups etc

* Building/upgrading PC components as and when required

* Providing technical support for Microsoft Windows Server 2008-2019, Windows 10, Mac OSX, iOS & Android

* Undertaking basic maintenance of school servers, desktops, mobile devices, network switches and peripherals (e.g. interactive classroom systems)

* Administrating user groups and user accounts, including email accounts on Office 365/Google Apps

* Providing telephone and remote support to clients via helpdesk software

For this IT Support Engineer position, we are interested in speaking to people with;

* Ideally 12 months experience working within a similar helpdesk position, or supporting customers remotely

* Some experience of managing & supporting Operating Systems such as Windows 10 & server 2016 upwards

* Previous experience with Apple Macintosh OS & iOS hardware/software, as well as experience with Microsoft Office 2016 & 365

* Previous experience with OneDrive, SharePoint & MS Teams would be ideal

* Network configuration, connectivity & troubleshooting experience, along with VoIP knowledge or understanding would also be advantageous
