Infrastructure Support Engineer

Salary: £44,400 – £48,000 per year

Infrastructure Support Engineer – 37-40k

Responsible for proactively monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving alerts in order to identify and prevent service disruption for our clients, globally.

Responsible for identifying, assessing and technically resolving platform vulnerabilities in order to remediate issues and ensure full security accreditation is maintained.

Sourcing, implementing and utilising new and industry leading tools such as Splunk, SQL, Power Shell, Python, AI tools,VEEAM, Puppet and entryOne in order to ensure that the business continues to function at the bleeding-edge of the industry.

Working collaboratively with other departments to efficiently and effectively facilitate business targets.

Act as an escalation for first and second line teams.

Be a rotational part of an escalations matrix for out of hour’s first and second line teams.

The Person, Infrastructure Support Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a STEM subject. A Levels A/B Grades, or Btec, Distinctions

Experience of troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.

Strong problem solving skills.

Strong analytical skills.

Keen interest in expanding knowledge on technologies such as SQL, #Powershell, #Linux, #Windows, #Python, etc.

Good ability to concisely communicate to various audiences.

Ability to ensure that security and the customer experience is at the forefront of all actions on the platform.

High standard of written and verbal communication.
