Salary: £66,000 – £72,000 per year

Smart Buildings Project Manager required to successfully manage the deployment of connected intelligent buildings SaaS technologies across the UK.

Working remotely for the UK operation, part of a wider international business, you will sit within the UK delivery team, working with the end users, consultants, main contractors and various specialist sub-contractors to successfully deliver SaaS smart buildings projects. Working with Customisable Off The Shelf (COTS) Software as a Service (SaaS) products, offering building owners, property managers, hard and soft facilities service providers and tenant more visibility, understanding, connectivity, convenience, data-visibility, integration and control and user experience than ever before.

Utilising a variety of proprietary software products, you will deploy the latest in intelligent buildings digital twin technologies including Cloud based SaaS platforms linked to online dashboards, mobile applications, touch-pad room control and room-booking, desk-booking applications, way-finding, digital signage, self-serve kiosks, HVAC controls, lighting, security and more.

You will enable advanced data collection, data-visualisation and AI analysis of building use, energy analysis, asset management and FM tools, allowing greater understanding and refinement of building use, user experience and energy efficiency.

The successful applicant will be an experienced PM in the IT or Software implementations, ideally with prior experience in construction, BMS or Smart Buildings technology deployment, with demonstrable project management and commercial acumen and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Motivated and talented, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of the business’ Intelligent Building products in their expansion to an existing prominent position in this global market. Working closely with client stakeholders and third-party contractors within the wider project team, setting clear expectations with all parties and delivering consistently high standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate project management activities with clients including regular reporting and client meetings
  • Document, track and communicate project issues, risks, requirements and dependencies
  • Manage the delivery of professional services to meet client requirements
  • Work closely with the Client project management resource to resolve issues and ensure project tasks are completed to plan
  • Ensure that project and client specific documentation are produced and available to clients
  • Manage commercial aspects of projects including expenses, forecasts and project billing.
