Rate; £73.2 ph LTD
6 months Contract initially / Part Time; 3 days per week

Working for an established organisation, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of major projects as directed, to time, budget & agreed quality standards. As a Project Lead, you will direct the team to ensure issues are quickly resolved & to satisfaction. Responsibility will include;

*To ensure project objectives are understood and to enable a successful and safe delivery of all projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.
*Ensure the projects are supported by up to date management, resourcing plans and monitored & controlled to complete on time and within budget.
*Co-ordinate inputs to Design and Phase Reviews & contract reviews.
*Perform reviews and forecasting on a regular business cycle and ensure that forecasts are consistent with plans, schedules, risks and contractual obligations.
*Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst effectively managing risk issues and opportunities, where appropriate.
*Prepare and present management review reports to the business on managed projects

Skills/Experience required

*Previous experience of ESM (Electronic Support Measures) and /or other naval combat system equipment’s
*Previous Project Management experience, with a demonstrable record of delivering engineering projects in complex environments
*Ability to manage effectively conflicting priorities and deadlines and respond positively to tight deadlines
*Experienced in Sub Contract Management, People & Resource Management
*Familiarity with budgeting, estimating, planning, scheduling, cost accounting & procurement management systems
*Risk Management
*Lifecycle Management experience, especially Design & Phase Review process
*Able to oversee the production and presentation of Detailed Design specifications and technical Statements of Work
*Ability to present at all levels & work under pressure
*PC literate

Due to the nature of business, successful applicants will be required to undergo UK Security Clearance.
