Service and Repair Technician

Salary: £38,400 per year

We are recruiting for candidates who have a strong understanding around agriculture equipment and workshop experience to support the After sales team with any repairs and servicing. You will have excellent customer service skills as you will be visiting dealers and distributors to provide training programmes of machine installations and will be the face of the company.

In the future you will be required to be in the office on site as well as attend clients sites so must be flexible and happy to travel both in and around the UK as well as internationally.

Location: Outskirts of Newmarket, Suffolk
Hours: 40 hours a week with core hours Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with 1 in 3 weekends required to man the service phones
Salary: Up to £38,400depending on experience

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions all technical enquiries and questions are currently conducted through Zoom / Teams and only unless the problem cannot be resolved through these channels will you be required to attend client site visits.

Key responsibilities:

* Visiting dealers and distributors to complete onsite training on machine installations through presentations

* Attend UK and International events and exhibitions to setup the company stand to a presentable standard

* Provide support to the After Sales Manager to ensure customer satisfaction

* Performing servicing repairs on agriculture machinery

* Using diagnostics equipment to identify any faults

* Providing fault reports and cost estimated to customers

* Updating the service database with details of work carried out, parts used, etc.

* Post sales technical support by email and telephone

* General support within other areas of the business including shopfloor

Qualifications and Experience Required:

* Previous experience within the Agricultural industry

* Experience with Electricals and hydraulics

* High standard of work ethic and attention to detail

* Excellent Problem solving skills

* Team work orientated

* Computer literate and familiar with MS Office Suite

* Full clean drivers licence
