Do you want to work for a residential care home company that puts children first? I am working with an exceptional company that is run by Directors who are very experienced in the industry and offer a supportive environment along with a great commitment to coaching and enabling their staff to grow.
I am currently looking for a Registered Manager/experienced Deputy Manager to run a new three bedded EBD unit for children and young people. The home is due to open shortly and you will be working with a company that is growing steadily to ensure that it maximises the potential of the young people it looks after. This role would suit an experienced Manager or a strong Deputy Manager looking to make the next step in their career.
Duties for this role will include:
* Managing the home on a day to day basis
* Ensuring residents receive outstanding care all of the time
* Involving residents to make sure that their care is at the heart of the home
* Managing staff and evaluating their practice
For this role you must have:
* A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) along with a willingness to undertake your Level 5 (if you don’t already have it)
* A knowledge of childcare legislation and safeguarding
* At least two years’ experience in a senior role working with children and young people in residential care
* Experience of supervising and managing a staff team
* A full UK driving licence
