Registered Manager

Salary: £420 per day

A 30 bed Care Home in Wolverhampton is looking for an experienced Interim Registered Manager to hit the ground running and provide leadership and turnaround management. This initial period is for 3 months with an immediate start. There is the possibly of a permanent position if the initial 3 months is successful.

This is a great opportunity for a Turnaround Interim Registered Manager who is passionate about person-centred elderly care.

About the Registered Manager Role
With the full support of the management team the Interim Registered Managers role will be to turn the home around, ensure CQC standards are being met and increase bed occupancy

Main Responsibilities of the Interim Registered manager:

* To turn around the home and ensure all CQC requirements are being met.

* Be responsible for the safe, effective, responsive and well-led operation of the home.

* Increase the level of occupancy whilst ensuring all current and newly referred individuals are properly assessed and that high quality, person-centred support is provided throughout

* Ensure all regulatory, contractual and company standards are met and where possible, exceeded

* Adopt a proactive approach to achieving a positive, engaging, promotional and relationship building role with CCGs, Local Authorities, families and all other stakeholders.

Personal Specification for the Interim Registered Manager:

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care

* A knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centered services

* At least 2 years’ experience of elderly care

* At least 3 years of successful team management experience
