Registered Manager

Salary: £36,000 – £40,800 per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to join our nursing care home in Arnold, Nottingham. We are looking for an individual with a background in health and social care, relevant experience in managing a care home, together with excellent communication, leadership and motivation skills.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the home, maintaining compliance of all statutory and mandatory requirements and ensuring all areas follow the homes policies and procedures.

Your focus will be on providing person centered care, appropriate to individual needs, in a safe, warm, friendly setting whilst promoting a caring environment through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of people living at the home.

Implementing the requirements of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in accordance with the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005 is paramount.

Working in conjunction with the HR consultants, you will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources to include recruitment, supervision, training and development plus employee relations matters.

Completion of monthly audits with necessary action plans in place should an audit identify gaps in quality or compliance.
