Registered Manager

Salary: £42,000 per year

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Manager or an experience Deputy Manager looking for the next step? Our client is looking for a Registered Care Home Manager for its first class home that is CQC rated Good. The residents live in comfortable and homely surroundings that provides stimulation and encourages independency where appropriate. This is an established home in the Sutton Coldfield area.

The Registered Manager will be responsible for delivering high standards of care in accordance with their policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements. You will manage a team of staff, developing best practice, leading by example and supporting further development of Person-Centred care.

The Registered Care Home Manager will ensure efficient and effective day to day running of the Care Home, developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones, manage all relevant staff and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills: –

• Registered Managers Award or NVQ level 5 (working towards)
• Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) Guidelines
• At least two years’ experience working as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a Residential Care Home environment
• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team
• Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meet or exceed the standards required by CQC so that the home can achieve the highest ratings possible.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise is essential
• Knowledge of IT is preferable
