£35,000 – £37,000 + CAR + benefits package

Company information:

This national contractor with a turnover in excess of £100 million has secured major contracts for 2014 with a variety of Hotel Chains and Public sector clients across the East of England. Due to this success we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can oversee the commercials on a variety of projects including school refurbishment and painting contracts as well as Social Housing.

Key Skills required:

Evaluation of contract documentation

Sub contractor payments

Setting out bills of quantities.

Settlement of final accounts

Site monitoring & progression reports

On going and Post contract administration

Working within a customer focused team

Use of COINS software an advantage

Good at problem solving and providing effective solutions to the clients and the delivery team

The ideal candidate will have experience on fast-track maintenance/refurbishment projects and have previous experience of pre/ongoing and post contract negotiations on projects preferably within the Hospitality sector or Public sector.
