COMMUTABLE FROM: Hull, Bridlington, York, Beverley, Scunthorpe, Hessle, Goole, Grimsby, Barton upon Humber  

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £35,000 – £50,000 – DOE + Company Car/Car Allowance + Benefits

COMPANY INFORMATION: My client is a well-established building contractor based in East Yorkshire, and due to an increase in workload are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Must come from a building background
• Minimum HNC in a related subject
• Excellent IT skills
• Excellent communications skills

ROLE INFORMATION:

Reporting to the Managing QS, the successful candidate will be responsible for the competitive and effective delivery of Quantity Surveying services. The successful candidate must be able to work unsupervised and to a high standard, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of NEC3 and JCT forms of contract. The role will be working with the minor work department and be working on values up to £2 million on a mix of new builds, refurbishment projects and repairs.
