Project Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

We are currently working with an AWARD-WINNING company whose values are to help everyone LIVE, LEARN, and THRIVE in AMAZING SPACES, to help them find a Senior Project Manager to be part of their Ministry of Defence frameworks.

Through successful delivery of public sector projects across the healthcare, education and MoD sectors, they have built great relationships with the government departments which is reinforced because of their net carbon zero targets, and strong focus on sustainable and ethical building.

We are looking for an up-and-coming Senior Project Manager who is ambitious and innovative, who would relish the challenge of taking on a lead role with of one of UK’S leading modular build companies, who offer long term security and active career development and progression.

YOU

As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for the initiation, planning, monitoring, and final completion of all MoD projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing team operations whilst delivering high quality outputs and achieving the agreed goals set within the scope of works.

Typically, the projects will be residential accommodation blocks across a number of MoD sites where the value will be around £1m / project but with many happening at any given time.

We are looking for someone who can manage various projects at once. Willing to travel to various sites across the country and be the first point of please apply site.

THE ROLE

As a Project Manager, you will..

• Be the central point throughout project lifecycles,
• Promote best practice and company policies
• Adopt a ‘no surprises’ approach in all aspects of communication, both internally and externally
• Guide the clients throughout all project stages, providing frequent, high-quality communication and developing strong relationships.
• Ensure that timeframe targets are met throughout the project
• Plan resources requirements (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitation
• Oversee the design stage process, working with the Design Manager to develop a coordinated set of Contractors Proposals whilst achieving the Employer’s Requirements 
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate MoD authorities
• Ensure the highest H&S standards are maintained on site and that CDM duties are being fulfilled
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure that the required BIM standards are met
