Project Manager – IT Transformation Manchester – Contract
Location: Manchester
Role: Project Manager
Rate: £480 – £540 pd – £450pd
Length: 6 months
A big brand specialist retailer with an impressive heritage, great people and huge plans for the future. The coming 2-3yrs will see a complete IT transformation programme, to support the business’ growth plans. We are looking to hire a number of key people to drive this change and be part of building and embedding a brand new IT estate, fit to support this growing, dynamic business.
A key role is that of Project Manager to take on a variable number and type of projects within this programme. Involved in decision making, planning and solution development, you will take ownership of your own discrete projects within a highly collaborative, interdependent team of PMs, BAs and testers. The team are supported by an extremely competent PMO and a management team who are actively engaged in the changes.
Specifically we are looking for –
* Agile, Prince2, end2end project management experience
* Confidence managing multiple projects of variable size, type and urgency
* A pragmatic and dynamic approach to project management
* Exceptional stakeholder management and process management skills are assumed
* Experience working on Infrastructure and Software Development/Delivery based projects
