East Yorkshire base Manufacturer is keen to speak with career focussed Production Team Leaders/ Supervisors who are up for the challenge of building and leading teams in an environment that will see constant positive change over the next 2 years, during a time of rapid expansion and £multi-million investment.

The Company
Established for over 30 years, our client is a true market leading OEM manufacturing business which prides itself on quality and value.

The Role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role carries leadership responsibility for around 20 heads in production related areas including Jigging, Pressing & Bonding. The role will oversee the day to day outputs in each area, working with the Manufacturing Manager to create a more efficient, a more streamlined and a more quality focussed environment. One of the main attractions of the role is that the company will invest heavily in training such as; leadership, 5S and lean manufacturing.

The Person
The role requires a strong people manager with a demonstrable track record of overseeing a busy and fast paced manufacturing area and leading improvement initiatives. You will be very hands on, being visible and active on the shop floor but having the ability to take to develop a long term production strategy alongside the Manufacturing Manager.
The environment would lend itself to someone that has worked within an assembly environment previously, such as; modular building, bus, coach, caravan, park home, motorhomes etc. Although we are interested in speaking with applicants from any process focussed manufacturing environment.
