Operations Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing are currently working with a growing manufacturing business in the hire of an Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity, based in Keighley and will suit an energetic and results-driven Operations Manager looking for the next step in their career.

The Operations Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for Production with 5 direct reports and approx. 30-36 skilled shop floor staff incl. Assembly Fitters, Machinists, Welders, and Fabricators.

As Operations Manager your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Planning | Projects; Workflow and Budgets
-Process | Review existing processes; make improvements where applicable
-Production | Implement KPI’s and achievable targets to ensure time frames are met; quality of goods are produced, and customer satisfaction is delivered
-Lead from the front and motivate your production team

This Operations Manager role will suit an individual with demonstrable Production experience, you may be a team leader / supervisor looking for the next challenge and so will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

-Experienced managing teams of 20+ skilled operatives within a busy manufacturing environment, assembly highly desired
-Passion for continuous improvement, driving change and achieving results
-Demonstrable experience; managing 5s methodologies and QHSE
-Experienced dealing with performance management, absence management, and disciplinary
-Confident decision maker with strong problem-solving abilities
