Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Are you an IT Savvy, having excellent knowledge and experience in managing IT support staff? Then you are the one we are looking for.
Purpose of the role
As part of a global IT service delivery team, our client’s business group require an IT Support Manager for the UK. You will be reporting to the Head of IT. This role carries the overall responsibility to provide effective IT Support, managing a support team covering 3 sites on the Fylde Coast and one close to Manchester City Centre. Working as part of a wider IT Operations team the role requires an active part in day-to-day Problem & Incident Management including Project-based activities. You will be based in Fleetwood, regular travel between the sites on the Fylde Coast and Manchester will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the UK IT Support team, ensuring staff and clients receive effective support
Assessing the technical needs of staff or clients and managing training
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships across teams and with staff/clients
Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements
Ensuring compliance with the Problem, Incident and Change Management procedures
Managing hardware and software
Resolving system and application issues
Assisting with IT equipment sourcing and budgeting
Occasionally working with third parties to rectify issues
Identifying gaps in the support process and amending it accordingly
Working with the wider IT Operation to keep our technology platforms secure and stable
Willingness and capability to sometimes work outside business hours
Required Qualification / Skills / Experience
At least 5 years working in a similar role.
A higher education qualification in Computer Science or Engineering
Knowledge of Microsoft products including MS 365, MS SQL, Azure Cloud Services, Windows Servers, Windows Operating Systems would be ideal.
