Tata Steel Europe spends over six billion pounds each year on goods and services to support its steelmaking, processing, and distribution operations. The UK Stores organisation is going through a exciting and significant transformation in the UK into a Centralised Function. The regional roles will be pivotal to support the transformation and influential in delivering the strategic vision of the future organisation.

The purpose of the role will be to support the transformation of the Tata Steel Europe UK Stores Operations from a highly disparate de-centralised organisation into a best in class centralised UK model.

We are looking to recruit candidates with proven experience of the stores and warehousing operations along with strong business acumen and an ability to build sound financial based business proposals. The successful candidate will have knowledge of project and programme management in complex multi channel organisations.

Stakeholder management is essential when required to influence and negotiate at all levels throughout the business and to its external customers. You will have strong knowledge of Commercial and Stores Operations processes in addition to technical knowledge in regional warehousing operations.

Candidates will be educated to a minimum degree level in a relevant discipline. In addition the candidates will hold a relevant qualification in business such as CILT or Operations Management and membership to a professional body. Please note that the successful applicants will be required to be mobile between the sites on a regular basis
