Night Shift Warehouse Manager required for a 3PL Company in Wakefield – £35,000

A large contract logistics provider based in Wakefield requires an experienced Warehouse Manager to take over the Night Shift in a 200,000 sq. ft. warehouse. You will be managing a team of operatives and Fork Lift Truck operators across a busy shift, loading and unloading trucks. It is a Pick/Pack operation and requires someone with experience in a large 3PL operation.

£28,000 – £35,000

The Role:
Warehouse Manager is required to maintain a safe working environment inline with company Health & Safety policies and procedures
You will be responsible for stock control and a team of Warehouse Operatives and Team Leaders
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for correct maintenance & management of WMS/TMS
It is essential that all staff are trained for the tasks they are completing and you will be responsible for organising and overseeing it
Ensure all HACCP standards are maintained, reviewed and audited to Company requirements
Effectively control goods in and goods out including unloading and loading of vehicles
Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse related activity
Promote an effective working environment building a diverse, well- balanced team

The Requirements:
3PL/Contract Logistics experience essential
Minimum 3 years Warehouse Management experience
Excellent communication skills – spoken & written
Strong IT skills and previous use of WMS
Stock Control experience
