Assistant Warehouse Manager is required by a Freight Forwarder based in Rainham – £23,000
An experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager is required in Rainham, Essex by a leading Freight Forwarding Company. You will be working alongside the Warehouse Manager successfully ensuring all Health and Safety practices are adhered to and all consignments are correctly picked, packed and ready for dispatch on time.
Fork Lift Truck Licence is required
Previous experience working in a Warehouse for a Freight Forwarder is essential
The Package:
£22,000 – £23,000
28 days holiday
Monday – Friday

The Role:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the successful day to day running of an organised and efficient Warehouse.
You will be working alongside the Warehouse Manager overseeing a team of 3 operatives in a Pick/Pack environment preparing consignments for a timely despatch.
It is your responsibility to observe and enforce all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that PPE is being correctly used at all necessary times.
All work carried out is time critical and you are expected to manage this effectively.
The Assistant Warehouse Manager is required to check all incoming and outgoing freight for damage and report as necessary.
The Requirements:
In date Fork Lift Truck License is Essential
Previous experience working in the Warehouse of a busy Freight Forwarder is a requirement
Strong man management skills
