About the Company
We are looking for a very well established General Manager to join my client’s fast growing company with the possibility to progress. They have a new concept focused on wines from their family vineyard and Italian spuntini (snacks) exporting their Italian culture of aperitivo (appetiser) in a very relaxed environment.
About the role
Your key responsibilities will include:
– Training, developing and motivating your staff
– Doing regular stock-takes
– Handling deliveries
– Maintaining the condition food and drinks
– Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises
– Enforcing health and safety procedures
– Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing KPI’s
– Dealing with customers
About you
– At least 2 years’ experience as a general manager
– Customer service oriented
– Strong and proved experience managing KPI’s, stock control and rota’s controlling the labour costs
– Knowledge of Italian products (preferred but not essential)
– Communication and decision making skills
