Financial Controller

Salary: £26,000 – £26,539.5 per year

Job Summary

General duties to include:

* Prepare and produce management accounts

* Weekly cashflow forecasting and variance analysis

* VAT reporting, national statistics reporting and liaising with external agencies where appropriate

* Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts

* Maintain Fixed Asset Registers

* Pro-forma retail activities

* Adhoc reporting

* Forecasting and annual budget preparation

* Monitoring of stock accounting

* Pro-forma P&L reporting

* Ensure all bank accounts reconciled daily

* Ensure all customer credits are processed within agreed timeline

* Set up new supplier and customer requests in a timely manner

* Support with purchase and sales ledger

Key Skills and Experience:

* AAT Level 4 minimum or with the desire to complete the relevant training

* Financial reporting and analysis

* Management reporting

* Budgeting, forecasting, costing and modelling

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Analytical and proactive

* Fully proficient in Excel
