RK Accountancy and Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a UK Leading Window Manufacturing Company looking to bring in a Financial Controller to work within their exciting team at their Offices in Rotherham.

Job Overview
Being responsible for the company’s financial department functions and being responsible for the efficient and accurate accounting operations of the company, including the accuracy of its reported financial results in line with accounting principles and standards.
Responsibilities of the Financial Controller
- Day-to-day management of the Accounts team
- Bank reconciliations and allocation on Sage and cashflow
- Accruals, prepayments, and depreciation of fixed assets
- Accounts queries
- Liaise with HR over monthly and year end payroll processing
- Tax and regulatory / compliance with financial governance
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
- Prepare reports for any necessary meetings
- Establish effective, professional, and positive working relationships both internally and externally
- Month and Year end procedures
- Daily monitoring of cashflow and update of cash flow spreadsheet
- Highlighting any potential risks to the business
- Completing VAT returns
- Ensuring statutory payments are made on time
- Make payments where necessary
- Provide analytical advice to Directors where required
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Other Adhoc duties
About the Person
- Fully Recognised Accountancy Qualification – Will also look at QBE Candidates
- Previous Experience Managing a team
- Experience in a similar role
- Manufacturing Experience
