Main Purpose of the Role
As Fabrication Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision and management of the day to day running of the metal workshop and ensuring that all projects are completed on time.
The Person
You should be flexible and dynamic in your approach, and bring energy and drive to your work. Key requirements are;
* Must be an apprentice trained Fabricator / Welder.
* Management / Supervisory experience of a fabrication department.
* Previous experience of MIG and TIG on stainless steel and aluminium.
* Ability to read engineering and CAD drawings.
Key Responsibilities
* Communication with department assistant supervisors and production staff including job briefs, job progress and resolving any problems or issues.
* Follow daily production plans and supervise staff requirements in order to meet project deadlines.
* Maintain stock levels and check material stock availability for current and imminent requirements and request purchases as required.
* Promote 5S and environmental procedures.
Salary and Benefits
£25-31k + private healthcare, pension etc.
