2BM Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on a permanent basis on behalf of our client a Global Engineering Manufacturing company for a Fabrication Supervisor in Sheffield. Job Details:

As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading up to 20 Welders, 10 Press Brake Operatives and 8 Robotic Welders. You will plan production, report efficiency figures for key processes, manage production staff through KPI’s and strong leadership. Your duties will also include leading team briefs and shift change handovers, monitoring annual Risk Assessments for your cell areas, manage and improve production through Continuous Improvement, staff management including one to one’s and identifying training and personnel issues. You will motivate your team and lead by example striving to increase production efficiencies. You will ensure Health & Safety compliance throughout the cells and highlight any issues promptly.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills / qualifications / attributes:

Candidates should have Fabrication or production manufacturing experience within engineering and previous leadership / man management experience is essential. You will also have previous experience of setting KPI’s and working to Lean Six Sigma principles. The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable in welding procedures or metal forming with strong IT skills to facilitate managing the ERP system and producing production reports. We are looking for an organised Supervisor / Team Leader that can make decisions, manage KPI’s and H&S, multitask, work under pressure, and deliver production schedules.

Your Pay & Benefits:

Fabrication Team Leader Permanent job paying a starting salary of between £39,600 – £42,600.00 to £35,500.00 (Plus Annual Bonus) for 44 hours per week working alternating Days and Afternoons shifts Monday to Friday on a weekly basis. Full time role working morning and afternoon shifts (afternoons after approximately 1 months induction) on weekly rotation 6am- 3pm and 1pm – 10pm Monday to Friday.
