A Design Engineer is required join a Heat Recovery business based near Leeds. You will join a team of 5 other engineers and draughtsman. The company will provide addtional training, but we are seeking someone for a Heat Transfer background. Working from home is allow a few days a week. 

Key Responsibilities:

· Production of technical drawings, accurately and in a time efficient manner.

· Produce 3D models / GA drawings / Sub assembly part details drawings/manufacture drawings.

· Preparation of list of materials, identification of ASME, BSEN materials for the drawings.

· Drawing Checking- elimination of design errors and manufacturing rework before designs get to manufacturing.

· Revise and update drawings as and when needed Manage drawing Library (PDM).

· Accurate Bills of Materials – Output accurate bills of materials (BOMs) needed by manufacturing with the click of a mouse.

· Liaise with engineering, production, purchasing and contracts and other departments to ensure jobs progress.

· Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure all external documentation i.e., calculations are completed correctly

· Attend Production Meetings and contribute to new contract handovers.

· Piping, tubing, and pipe routing design.

Engineer Specification:

· Ability to develop 2D and 3D drawings from the design data.

· Highly skilled and having good experience in Solid works/ AutoCAD -3D/ Inventor package (Solidworks experience is essential).

· Experience in Draftsight/ AutoCAD 2D packages.

· Sector experience in fossil fuels/ waste to energy/ Oil & Gas sector is essential.
