Design Engineer

Melbreck Technical are currently recruiting exclusively for our client in the Peterborough area to secure a Design Engineer to join their busy design office.
The role will be using Autodesk Inventor, so competence on this software package is ideal, but we will happily consider those with other software experience. Experience of special purpose machinery design, plant layout, agricultural machinery, plant process, drives, control systems and steel fabrications will be very useful to these roles indeed.
You will have experience special purpose machinery, conveyors, or mechanical handling systems. Other similar backgrounds will of course be considered for those of high-calibre, strong software skills within another mechanical discipline.
The role will be based in the Peterborough area, so candidates must be within striking distance of the town. There is a competitive salary available, dependent on experience, for the successful candidate.
Candidates prepared to relocate for a permanent role will also be considered.
