Design Engineer

Salary: £30,000 per year

Design Engineer, Hull area

3 x roles including

• Graduate Design Engineer C £25,000
• Design Engineer up to £45,000
• Senior Design Engineer negotiable
• Design Engineer coming to market soon up to £60,000

We have a selection of clients who are currently looking to appoint Design Engineers including Graduate Design Engineers; all these roles are due to expansion!

The role of Design Engineer is to work in the drawing office and design mechanical-based products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Working on individual design projects from concept to completion
• Project managing design projects
• Creating 3d models leading to 2d manufacturing and assembly drawings and accurate Bills of Materials
• Design and calculation of components
• Production of sales drawings for customer enquiries
• Involvement in R+D projects
• Knowledge of material purchasing, parts allocations and parts costing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of the Design Engineer

• 3D and 2D knowledge within design to manufacture
• Good engineering knowledge of materials and their properties

We are looking for experienced Design Engineers as well as Graduate Engineers looking to enter a design / project design role.
