Salary: £13.37 per hour

NHS Professionals -Temporary Data Migration Administrators

Location – Trafford General Hospital (Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust)

Band – 3

Pay – £13.37ph (week day rate)

Shifts – Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm – min 20 hours per week required

We have a fantastic opportunity to support Manchester University Foundation Trust to successfully implement their new electronic patient record system, HIVE.

is MFT’s major clinical transformation programme and will transform how the Trust work across all 10 hospitals, to deliver widespread change and improvement. It will bring all patient information together, enabling single Trust-wide hospital records for each patient, helping us work together to improve our services.

This is a temporary role for two months and you must be able to work at least 20 hours a week Monday to Friday during August and September. Expected

The role involves moving data from existing systems to the new system, also checking data to identify errors and correct as appropriate, therefore attention to detail and accuracy are essential to the role.

For these roles you will need to have the following skills or experience:

  • An understanding of database systems & Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • A methodical and logical approach to your work
  • Good time management skills
  • An understanding of data protection issues

If you are looking to work on a longer placement, we also have many other temporary positions starting after September which would allow you to extend your employment further.
