Communications and Toolkit Coordinator/ Communications Coordinator/ Marketing Communications Coordinator
Sheffield
Salary: £26,000per year
Permanent, 37 hours per week

Our client is a leading provider of Housing, Health and Wellbeing Services within the Sheffield City region.

They are seeking a Communications Coordinator to facilitate the development and co-design of the Big Lottery funded toolkit each year, and support the marketing team on a range of marketing communication activities. You will most likely be a high-flying graduate (ideally with a broadcast journalism, or arts/media-based degree) or equivalent, with plenty of volunteering/work experience in community/professional environments.

You will form part of a small, talented and friendly team, and report to the new Marketing Communications Manager, who has a strong ambitious creative vision for the new team, in a directorate that values exceptional quality and talent. This is a great development opportunity for someone looking to develop their creative skills, whilst applying their natural talent for organising in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
As a key part of the role is running media training with community volunteers, you are confident at speaking to people and probably get a kick out of teaching people things. You’re not afraid to get on the phone and speak to people you don’t know. You’ll give anything a go, and enjoy talking to people and finding out what makes them tick. Ideally you will have some experience of working with communities and volunteers.
You are ruthlessly organised, and are most likely a lover of plastic wallets and lists. You love nothing more than making order from chaos. You enjoy organising things and people, without being annoyed at them for being less organised than you. You love being busy in highly productive, fast-paced environments, where no two days are the same. You are a highly competent fast worker – and people will think of you as a ‘safe pair of hands’.
Closing date: 17.00 hours on Tuesday 1 December 2015
