Marketing and Communications Officer

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are working in exclusive partnership with Kelda Water Services, one of the most innovative and successful private contracts water companies in the country to recruit a Marketing and Communications Officer. This position will play a key role in delivering the growth strategy of the Kelda Water Services Retail brand (KWS Retail), a rapidly expanding area of the group who offer business customers a tailored range of services.

THE JOB:

Reporting into the Bid Manager this role will be responsible for the creation and implementation of coherent, intelligent and engaging marketing campaigns.

Develop and implement an effective Communication plan considering all relevant media channels
Develop, create, update, and maintain the company website
Create marketing material both print and digital
Develop, create, update and maintain social media marketing campaigns
To manage and champion the KWS Retail brand
Preparation of marketing reports by collecting, analysing and summarising sales data
Using a CRM system to support sales activity and focus and forecasting is accurate
Gaining competitor knowledge on products and services by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing and advertising and maintaining research data bases
Participating in trade eventsTHE CANDIDATE:

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

Qualifications in sales & marketing or business promotion (e.g. with Chartered Institute of Marketing)
Previous B2B, B2C experience
High standard of English
Excellent IT skills (word, excel, lotus, power point, desk top publishing, CRM systems)
Experienced in the use of social media for the marketing of business activities (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+)
Website management and optimisation
Strategic thinking – the ability to create and implement long-term marketing plans to maximise business growth
Commercial aptitude – for the scope of the role – assess risk and benefits, makes cases, be influential, have the ability to negotiate contracts and close deals
Knowledge and experience of a utility industry is desirableTHE BENEFITS:
