If you work in marketing and want to feel like you`re making a difference, then read on… As part of the team at St Rocco`s Hospice, one of Warrington`s best loved charities, you`ll never feel unfulfilled in your marketing role. Everything to do with marcomms for the charity will be down to you. That`s leading the strategy, managing the budget, promoting fundraising initiatives, marketing the Hospice within the wider health environment, keeping our profile high and helping our care reach more families in Warrington.

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a function, and drive it to results that make a real, tangible difference. No day will be the same. This busy yet satisfying role will lead a diverse range of projects. One day you could be working on a sensitive case study with one our families or promoting our services to stakeholders; the next you could be writing our newsletter and implementing a social media strategy. You`ll need a broad understanding of marketing and communications, plus all the relevant qualifications and knowledge. Ideally you will have experience of working in the charity sector yet this is not essential. Salary: £33,600per annum plus benefits (T&C’s apply)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Reports to: Income Generation Lead
Accountable to: Income Generation Lead

Responsibilities: To deliver communications activity that supports strategic objectives, working with all departments to support service provision and maximise income generation activities and to ensure that we are communicating in a timely, targeted and cost effective manner. To run an effective marketing and communications service, including PR, media handling, and an effective design and print capability which meets the needs of the Hospice.
