Business Development Manager – IT Networking Consultancy

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing Network and Security consultancy business and New Business Development Manager.

The role will be targeted to attain new business sales. The ideal candidate could come from either a consultancy or product sale background around Cisco or Checkpoint. The client is looking for someone to have a new business mentality and be able to demonstrate new business wins and then turning them into accounts over a period of time. The clients they currently dealing with range in size and they work with both the corporate and public sectors. As our client are a consultancy business we are looking for Business Development individuals with 3/5 yrs. experience within Cisco and Checkpoint sales environment.

This role is a business development management role so if you are looking for a pure account management role this isn’t the position for you.

Experience required:

* 3/5yrs+ direct sales experience with proven success
* Experience of winning new business deals varying in complexity of services and value.
* Experience of deal sizes in excess of 150k (and be able to demonstrate this with recent wins)
* Demonstrable experience of selling WAN/LAN/Networking/Security.
* Experience of selling into the Corporate vertical or Public Sector verticals
* Solution led sales person and have the ability to demonstrate this.
