Energy Business Development Manager

Salary: £36,000 – £45,000 per year

We are seeking a technical Business Development Manager to support the growth of a fast growing energy solutions provider specialising in driving down costs and carbon footproint whilst increasing efficiencies and capacity for clients in a wide range of industries.
You will create and implement company sales strategies for a commercial customer base in the UK.
Leading the way you will be qualified by experience in the industry. You will have a co-operative and hungry approach to work and have a passion for driving for continuous improvement and success whilst being mindful of others.
Your sales background will help support the wider business and you will possess excellent communication skills which will be used to communicate with all levels of an organisation.
The position will be working closely and reporting into the Director using your prior professional experience and technical knowledge to:
* Building and closing a pipeline of core qualified customers
* Develop introduction relationships and create sales opportunities with qualified potential customers, and discuss knowledgeably their energy issues and the solution opportunities
* Build productive relationships with potential and actual customers
* Attend customer sites to identify and gather relevant data
* Prepare business cases for potential customer solutions supported by customer data analysis
* Develop and manage customers, to secure share of wallet for the energy related capex
* Represent the client at trade shows and other networking events
* Provide input on competitor and market intelligence to influence the strategy and tactical position of the client
(REMOTE ROLE BUT WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND SITES ACROSS THE UK)
