Business Analayst / Project Manager

BA needed with experience of:

Requirements gathering, requirements documentation, Requirements validation.

Experience of leading workshops and interviewing stakeholders to ascertain requirements
Experience writing business cases

Experience of project management for an IT system implementation would be essential, as the job will involve this.

Need experience of writing a business case, and project managing the implementation of IT system changes through to hand over to business as usual support.

Experience of business process engineering, experience of working with a business unit to re-engineer their business process, experience of embedding change in business as usual.

So the candidate will have to be used to working with the business to clarify their requirements ensure the IT system meets their needs and that changes are made to business processes and IT systems so that the change is embedded.

Candidates whom can demonstrate the application of PRINCE 2 project management principles would be preferred.

4 years BA experience minimum (preferably in the public sector).

Desirable:

Any experience of working with the following IT systems would be desirable:
Civica APP, M3 (Land & Property), and Civica Universal Housing

This post will be working across a number of service areas dealing with enforcement in the planning service, environmental enforcement, environmental health, building control, waste management, licensing.

So any local authority experience of these would be good but not essential.
